Manufacturing Process for Bright bars
The bars are made from ingots and are processed after giving required reduction ratio and discarding hot top and bottom for homogeneity. They are either processed by hot rolling or hot forging. These bars are further heat treated by
- Annealing
- Normalizing
- Stress Relieving
- Quenching and Tempering
- Spheroid zing Annealing
Then the bars are bright by either
- Peeling and Reeling (for upto 120mm for rolled)
- Cold drawing (for upto 65mm)
- Proof machining (120-650mm)
